When We Cannot Explain It

Bill Leveridge

I have been inspired because of some recent events to consider a question from the book of John. Actually, a member of my men’s class quoted this in class the other day as we were having a discussion, and from there, this message worked its way through my head and my heart. “Who sinned this man or his parents that he was born blind?” It is obvious that the disciples believe that this man is blind as a direct result of his or his parents sin. Jesus quickly tells them that it was not his sin or his parents sin, but that in this case this blindness was so that the glory of God could be seen. Join us as we dig into suffering a bit and find out what the Word actually tells about it all.
